Analytical Exposition

 

Definition

An analytical exposition is a text that is used to:

- persuade readers to believe in a certain opinion by presenting one side of the argument.

- deliver our opinion or belief regarding certain issues

The text contains the reasons with valid arguments. It gives people to agree or disagree with our opinion.

This text can be found in a scientific journal, newspaper, and magazines.


Structures of text

1. Thesis (Introduction of the topic)

2. Arguments (Reasons that support the topic/issue)

3. Reiteration (Conclusion/Closing)
